The Antique Rose Emporium is located in historic Independence, twelve miles north of Brenham on FM 50. Located on eight acres of nationally known, beautifully landscaped theme gardens, a chapel, reception house, Champneys' Green, with gazebo and large covered pavilion, are available for weddings and other special events. The Chapel's 1500 square feet is a large, vaulted-ceiling air-conditioned and heated room with clear, gothic windows that was patterned after local country churches. Maximum seating inside is 150.

Champneys' Green is a 1900's Victorian house with wraparound twelve-foot wide porches used as a focal point for receptions. It consists of one large room 13' x 24', three smaller rooms, 13' x 13', a small kitchen and two bathrooms. The house is bordered on all sides by landscaped gardens and an expansive lawn. A rose-covered arbor with perennial border leads from the house to the rose entwined gazebo. This romantic spot is the location of many of our outdoor weddings and vow renewals. Nearby is a 40' x 48' covered pavilion with an etched and stained concrete floor. To add to the ambiance of this structure is a water fountain feature. The outside pathways are bordered with perennials and fragrant climbing roses. There is a limit of 225 guests.
