Can tooth whitening hurt my teeth?

How is this different from TV and over the-counter products?
Your treatment will be done using custom fitted trays and professional products. Over the counter trays are not snug and can cause spotting of your teeth by not allowing the bleach to be evenly distributed over your teeth. Also, some over-the counter products contain harmful acids or abrasives which can damage your teeth or gums.

Are there any side effects?
Some people experience temporary tooth sensitivity to hot and cold. This usually occurs in the first week, and cease to exist when you are not whitening your teeth.
